Doncs heu de saber que aquesta és la nadala que a més llengües s’ha traduït i que aquest any està d’aniversari. Ha fet 200anys! El seu títol original és en alemany, Stille Nacht. Es va interpretar per primera vegada el 24 de desembre de l’any 1818 a l’església de St. Nicholas d’Oberndorf, una petita localitat d’Àustria i el seu compositor en va ser Franz Gruber.

Sens dubte, les noves tecnologies ajuden a difondre de manera ràpida i immediata música, notícies i tendències, però no oblideu que en aquell temps res d’això existia: la música no s’enregistrava  ni es reproduïa!

La cançó ha enamorat a molts músics. Se n’han fet múltiples versions, Mariah Carey, Jimi Hendrix, Elvis Presley o Aretha Franklin l’han cantada.
